To be fair I think one can see why people were dissatisfied with him regardless of outside agitation. The reality from the way I see it is he overstayed his welcome as far as power was concerned. He didn't have the foresight to recognize that his time has come and gone. Zimbabwe isn't Cuba. While it's true he played an intricate role in removing Britain's yoke from Zimbabwe's neck and establishing it's independence, that same independent mentality didn't translate into economic progress for the country. His heart was in the right place in giving those white farmers the boot, but then to turn around and give that land to his incompetent cronies wasn't a good look. He turned out to be more of the same and we've seen this "revolutionary" story play out over and over again throughout history.

The people in Zimbabwe have had to watch the elite living lavish all the while they themselves were going nowhere and this has been going on for what 30 years? And now Mugabe wants to groom his 52 year old wife known as Gucci Grace as the next leader to do more of the same for another 30 years? It's not surprising in the least that the people grew tired. Mugabe and his wife are fortunate there wasn't a strong bloodlust there because these things don't always turn out so peacefully.

Because people like to wag the finger at how corrupt these Africans leaders are when they own backyard is a rest haven for government and corporate corruption that is screwing tax payers over daily.

Nobody says why the music industry has all this money? What type of kickbacks and government deals they doing that’s allowing them to have this much power and influence and money to throw around.
