There was a time when this was the default energy for black men. It was when I was a boy growing up. If the global movement towards the extreme far right hit home the fairy tales some of us like to tell ourselves will cease with the quickness. I grew up in the era of skinhead nazi's/ racist punk rockers and post WWII white men with an attitude, I actually had to fight skinheads,nazi's and beer bellied white men thinking it was sweet smooth sailing over here. the reason I posted is because embedded content is not searchable on the coli or search engines, i post the twitter links with the text extracted so the content can be found more easily.
not only that but the tweet thread was informative and should have been included but wasn't. everyone don't have a twitter account or know to use a alternative twitter viewer like Nitter to see the entire thread.

You need to watch “The Greatest” starring Ali himself. I enjoyed it more than the Ali movie with Will Smith, plus it had a dope soundtrack. “When We Were Kings” was another dope documentary surrounding the fight between him and Foreman.
