Multiculturalism: What is Your View?

- I've lived in an extremely homogenous society and multicultural societies. I'm comfortable with both, but if I had to choose I'd go with multicultural.
- Yeah, kinda. The general area I live in is mostly white, but my neighborhood has a decent amount of black, Indian, and other Asian folks. There haven't been any racial incidents (or at least I haven't been in one), so I can't say it hasn't been working.
- No. It's important for countries to push assimilation though.
- More. But in some places (Europe) push back against it will increase.

Where? Show me these utopias where tolerance and respect exist for the non-dominant cultures.
That's not what "multicultural" means to me. To me it means a place where more than one culture exists. Not necessarily that they're on equal pegging.

Multiculturalism/Multiracialism doesnt work with black people. It never will. Look at certain cities in the 1950s compared to now.
