Personally, I say fukk a ladies group or mens group for that matter. Special interests are one thing, but I didn't join this forum to post separately with a few other people. With that said, lets not act like some ppl wouldn't complain no matter who was heading that group.

But that's exactly what happened. People were able to address MSW, allowing her to give her side and then making whatever judgement and decision they saw fit. And it was peaceful.

I don't disagree with the outcome. I just like organize action, rather than everyone attacking each other instead of focusing on the problem at hand.

There was no talking it out when you guys booted members. There was only action.

We did. You have to remember the group is only like 2 days old. So we were still figuring out how we were going to run it, which led to confusion.

Kool-Aid I think was the (or one of the) first male invited. When MSW heard a complaint from another poster, she made a thread and poll. He was winning and then another poster objected to his membership.
At the same time, there was a thread asking how we wanted the group to be run and how to decide male membership. Voting or guidelines. Guidelines won.

From then MSW, chose mods and the mods discussed who would join and who would stay. Because we wanted to make it a safe place for women, if anyone felt uncomfortable having a male in the group, the male would get the axe. So you literally had to have had NO objections from the women of the coli to join.

The confusion came when one mod would be inviting people, and another one would ban them (usually without any explanation). This caused obvious tension. Et voila! The infamous thread was started when men asked why they were booted and the news of the group spread and other men wanted in too.
