I’m in Paris on vacation and the Louvre workers are striking. Why go to Europe if not for the museums? I’m tight because I don’t want to come back just for that. Tickets are going to be refunded but still.

This thread getting bushed but I feel better getting this off my chest.

This shyt happened to me in early 2020 in Boston when they had that government shutdown. Couldn't go into the jfk presidential library. I was able to go into this state museum where they had the bill of rights and all these other exhibits on deck.

I remember when we went to paris, we hit the louvre, but then I didn't make it to the Cathedral, then like a week later, they had a fire. No problem though, the mos timportant wart of the trip was the Hennessey Factory. It started out feeling like Willy Wonka, lol

Damn that sucks! The Louvre got robbed days before my trip to Paris and I was crashing out thinking they wouldn’t be open when I went but I lucked out.

I didn’t get to go to the Musee d’Orsay though, you should check that out if you haven’t already.
I’m going to try, wasn’t expecting it so will try and scramble to get tickets. Good rec tho ty.

That sounds fun lol. Cathedral was impressive as expected but you definitely got the better end with the louvre. Another time maybe.

Damn, didnt even know that was a thing!? :noah: Cant be too mad unless they be giving out free samples or something tho.

Kinda cool to be amongst fellow travelers that be on this type of time. Cause the majority of people of people that go to the Louvre go just to take that obnoxious picture outside. You know the one. :snoop:

The love was cool but there were too many people. The large as groups of Asian tourist made it miserable. We were glad we did it, but more than happy to leave and get lunch.
