My Pops Forever RIP
Where do you even go to pirate songs anymore? And where do you even put then to listen to them?

Why would I want to go back to the days of downloading a song, hooking my mp3 to the computer and dragging and dropping songs when I can just go to a streaming service or YouTube and listen? Just seems like some nostalgia bait.
I do that shyt to this day. I enjoy tagging my music, checking the cover art, and making sure I have a backup for everything.

It used to suck when phones/iPods had low storage spaces but now iPhones have as much space as laptops.

Being able to afford all the streaming sites (through bill partnerships of course) has made me soft

I won’t be happy until I got a couple 100 gigs of movies from 2020 to now

Man WHAT?

You can send files between your PC/laptop and your phone in seconds with Pushbullet. I don't know what kinda phone you got but Soulseek is still up on PC and it's mobile equivalent Seeker exists as well for Android. That puts music directly into your phone.

I don't know anything about Iphones.
Some of yall sound like you fell into a coma around 1999 and just woke up. Man said "drag a MP3 from a computer".

SINY!!
I have several DAPS (Sony A306 & Fiio M21)....each with 400+ artists/1200+ albums/20K+ songs. I've never streamed music/paid a subscription. Albums disappear, songs have samples removed, or are replaced altogether. I'd rather have my music on a device separate from my phone (Id rather use that memory for other things)

There are also many who have adopted a minimalist approach to technology. A lot of people going back to dumb phones, DAPs, Chinese handhelds for retro gaming, etc.....many with the intention of staying off the internet/social media.

I listen to mainly 90s and modern boom bap and mostly niche independent stuff. I download of if I want good quality 320 Kpbs mp3. I’ve just discovered the first rapper of Nashville called Pistol and I’ve been bumping him. Afterward I loaded all these music in Google music personal stream, about 29000 songs. I have backups of backups. On top of that I have a 1500 again niche Indy vinyl and CDs. I like all music on all medias. The ones that I have always refused to collect are the NY canal street flimsy mixtapes
