Music That Sounds Like This Is Becoming Harder For Me To Consume

Y'all hear how "dark" this sounds?

How "dark" it feels?

Music like this I'm finding myself not being able to consume it more and more. It simply doesn't sit right with my spirit any longer.

I love lyricism so a rapper like Benny the Butcher Ill check out when he drops something but he's always rapping over dark beats like this due to his content.

I've found myself being able to only listen to his music once then I can't listen anymore due to how dark the music sounds. The music simply doesn't make me FEEL good. This type of music has become a chore to listen to. It's not fun. It's draining.

I can't imagine somebody ONLY listening to music that sounds like this , from the dark , chaotic instrumental to the actual profanity laced, violent lyrics.

I can only imagine what kind of effect consuming strictly this type of music has on the spirit.

Bro I saw a Convo about something similar with Rod Waves latest album. I listened to it and while it was nice I just can't listen to that pain and depression music all the time it messes with my vibe. I started shuffling up some of the music I listen to as I get older.

We are consuming music the same way we consume food, if you're consuming a steady diet of depressing or dark music, your body will respond similarly to if you're consuming nothing but fast food all the time.

As I've matured, I've become more aware of how what you consume impacts your spirit and psyche. There are certain genres I stay away from.

I'm a OG Pac stan but I can't listen to his darker stuff any more. Been years since I listened to Makaveli. It's just mired in depressive energy that I don't want around me. What's the purpose of taking on somebody else's dysfunctions and pain? shyt is lowkey masochistic.

Same goes for all this death music. Kill this, kill that. That stuff is not good for your soul.
