We'll see.It's less than 24 hours and she has nearly 2mil views on youtube. Seems like she gonna be fine....but I don't think this track is the one. She better have something better to launch the album with.
I feel like that subgenre is so regressive that as long as you have hits, you'll be fine. You can't be left behind sonically because it's still the same 90s r&b samples+heavy reverb+crooning no matter how much time goes by. Solonge showed these chicks that you can't go left.
