Hm...I agree wiith this as well. The Infamous was a lot more cohesive and complete. It's pretty similar to Illmatic in the sense that it gave a lot of insight into life in the hood. Illmatic was more poetic, and a little grimy. The Infamous was a lot more dark and murky. And Prodigy was in his prime on that album.

Both are great albums though, I listen to both without skipping any tracks...it's just that to me The Infamous was more of a complete album. Illmatic was too short.

yeah maybe. eye for an eye is my isht.

Yeah same here, Prodigy's verse was :ohlawd:

"nikkas try to creep on the side of my jeep" :mjpls:

"Stuck the heat through the window rocked his ass to sleep" :birdman:

Nas and Rae had great features too. Right Back At You is one of my fav songs on there, Big Noyd killed it :myman:

Q-Tip took The Infamous from being a sonically good album, to a fukkin' classic!! I don't think Havoc would've done what he did on Hell on Earth, had Tip not looked out on The Infamous. Hav' said dude changed the sound of the whole album!

Illmatic isn't like the best album of all-time. So i don't get why it's being compared to every album ever on here. Nas was untouchable on that album, and he brought together the best producers from that era, pretty much. But it doesn't need to be compared to everything. It's gettin' corny now.
