Can’t stand them.

Im not too sure why either, maybe it’s me, but watching people talk and then bust into a dance number is really cringe inducing

Musical fans, what attracts you to them as a whole? I don’t like being close minded , but what is the appeal?

I liked Crush Groove, could that be considered a musical?

I love musicals. I just like the surrealism of it all...song and dance breakout used for exposition, but played straight. And I end up loving the songs. Not counting the animated flicks, there's:

Willy Wonka
Wizard of Oz (Wiz had better songs but a worse movie)
Grease
West Side Story
Blues Brothers
Mary Poppins
Annie (1992)
Little Shop of Horrors
The Sound of Music
Singin in the Rain
The Muppets incorporate it the best to me.

I only watched high school musical for Vanessa Hudgens (I was a preteen at the time so no )

Never been that *big* of a fan, but I liked a few musicals. It's the songs/feel-good nature that do it for me. My favorites are probably Enchanted, Funny Face and Gigi (I know, I know).
