I'd consider plans for forcably overthrowing this administration if they ruled in favor of the travel ban.

Didn't mean you or me will "find out" just the reveal in general.

The ban was struck down by democratic appointed judges and was based on Trump's campaign statements and it also targeting a specific religion. They tweaked it to kinda not target Muslims but it still does, so now it comes down to if the majority of the court will disregard Trump's campaign words when deceiding.

I will say I don't think this is a 100% slam dunk for Donald.

There's a 5-4 conservative majority and there's really no reason to think they won't just vote along partisan lines.

He said he needed a 90 day ban to develop and implement extreme vetting procedures. That was on January 27. It's now June 2.



Shouldn't he have the new procedures in place by now? Why does he still need a "temporary" ban?

There's a 5-4 conservative majority and there's really no reason to think they won't just vote along partisan lines.

kennedy isn't a conservative like alito, roberts, thomas and gorsuch though. he's a regular swing vote. that's why the lower courts have been repeatedly using his 2015 "bad faith" words in their decisions. basically putting it front and center that if he has any principals he'll stand by what he said just 2 years ago.
