Koran 3:28

Al-Tabari , author of a mainstream Koran commentary, offers the following exegesis of 3:28: "If you [Muslims] are under their [non-Muslims] authority, fearing for yourselves, behave loyally to them with your tongue while harboring inner animosity for them...[know that] Allah has forbidden believers from being friendly or on intimate terms with the infidels rather than other believers — except when infidels are above them [in authority]. Should that be the case, let them act friendly towards them while preserving their religion."

Conceding implies I'm a muslim, the quran (and every religious book) runs into the Seinfeld dilemma: if there were cell phones (or any modern tech) at the time, it wouldn't work

So to answer the bolded, yes, there's nothing wrong with a diverse circle of friends

The Bible, Koran and all other religious books were inspired deliberately by God.

This is evident in the story of the Tower of Babel.

Religions are methods by which diversity in thought processes and behavioral patterns, is made possible.

When there is diversity, there is sure to be conflict. And when there is conflict, there’s sure to be loss of life. And when there is loss of life, the worlds population is kept from growing out of control.

You don’t have to believe this. Just look at the situation of animals out in the jungle. If the lions and cheetahs and leopards aren’t out hunting gazelles and other animals, things will get ugly very fast…like the rabbit problem I believe Australia use to have.

When you get this, you know how to move in society. You move with purpose.

The world may seem random to you, but I assure you it is not.
