Must be nice being a 6 figure prisoner. Wish I could sit on my ass for 2.5 and not worry about where money's coming from

Not all money good money…. Especially when you have a passion to do something you want to do but being denied.

Ben Simmon and Harden were making 20x whatever he makes and you see they wanted to get out of their company to go someone new

It is what it is

:francis:No sympy for folks bytching about getting paid to sit at catering. Wrestlers are dumb enough to sign the contract, but not smart enough to see the end results when they not moving the needle.

these wrestlers are there own biggest marks

And these youngin wrestlers forever shytting on the OGs. Even though the OGs were on some demon time, at least they lived by the code of "fukk you pay me".

You give a mark a contract and like rappers they don't read the fine print, then end up on Twitter bytching.

Cold world:camby:

Tired of dumb ass wrestlers wanting them "Hogan dreams", but end up in a jobber predicament.

Some people like to actually work for their money….

I mean :patrice:... I am not going to lie. I am like that to the extreme. Almost every job I ever worked for I did shyt like it was my career. So I understand Ali's side of the coin, but on the other side you are actually avoiding bumps, injuries, and being preserved for a potential comeback.

If you want to wrestle your ass off, dude should have stayed in the indies.

Working but not making much or sitting at catering getting a decent pay to do ass nothing :manny:

For everyone saying he's stupid for complaining about sitting at home and getting paid, what happens when his contract runs out? He'll have to rebuild and re-establish who he is as a performer. He is a top tier in-ring performer and got over as a babyface before he was injured leading to Kofimania. There's no guarantee he'll be as good as he is right now. The pay days will undoubtedly be much smaller because he's not a marquee name anymore because he was a guy on TV 3 years ago.

If they're not going to use him, just let him go. This is why it's fukking stupid to hold these wrestlers hostage when they're independent contractors.

This...I'm currently at a job where they literally have somebody who's not even my position basically doing my job and it's been like this from the moment I arrived, as I basically play spectator and editor. Sure, I'm collecting nearly $2000 every 15th and 30th to do nothing but shyt is still miserable. I got aspirations and getting paid to do nothing stagnates me, which is why I took another job and am leaving in 2 weeks :francis:

Lazy ambitionless folks gotta stop speaking for everybody :mjlol:

Exactly, people ain't thinking long term. To go back to my job - what would've happened if I stuck around and waited until a corporate suit eventually looked at the bottom line and laid me off? I'd be ass out looking for a job with nothing in my portfolio from my previous agency to show my value.

I mean.....He can't even do that. They're just gonna extend his shyt by however much time he sits out.

Something that is also not being mentioned that them keeping him in this contract prevents him from doing shyt outside the company too. He can't start a Twitch channel or probably even get outside endorsements and roles.
