I agree with the brehs that said this shyt is hypocritical. They had their chance to take R Kelly down a few times.
When that shyt with Aaliyah first came out, they didn’t wanna hear it. Those allegations affected her more than they affected him. His career soared. She got blackballed. It was said a while ago that she had trouble getting writers and producers for her second album because of the controversy. That’s how she ended up working with a then unknown Timbaland and Missy.
R Kelly is trash but at this point, idgaf no more. He BEEN trash since the 90s. So why’s it a thing now? Ironic and hypocritical since women are the biggest consumers of his music. If they had turned their backs on him back then, this wouldn’t be a thing now. So I don’t wanna hear this shyt.
