I was out yesterday and hit up an old mall me and my friends used to hang out in high school.

It used to have a movie theatre, two music stores, a dikk's sporting good store, and a borders...

NOW...next to nothing. Except a marshalls, a rock memorbilia store (which has AWESOME band t-shirts), a pizza place, a petsmart, and a shoe store.

It was like an excavation of sorts...it felt like some after earth shyt.

There was one main section with escalators that used to have a food court and a value city and now only TWO stores are open in it. Everything else was closed and boarded up. And next to no people in there.

I should of took pics...it was awesome and sad at the same time.

Why this mall was still open is beyond me.

The dikk's sporting goods store on the left is closed...so now there's nothing there except a pizza place and a asian massage place...

Naw I really believe its oversaturation and the area of these malls. Don't believe me go to a random mall in dfw9except irving) and there are all popping

See @Emperor_ReinScarf post above. Malls and brick and mortar in general don't do as well as they one did due to the spurge in online shopping...

Goatganda the pearl of Africa
big malls prob only have like 20-30 years left, rent isn'tw orth it for most stores etc.

online is taken over, i can't tell the last time I bought anything at the mall, verything online is cheaper, even sites out there you can make your own suit from scratch that fit to a damn tee thats much cheaper than buying a suit at the mall
