thats what im saying though. Malls are mostly dying in rurual areas or areas that was hit by the recession anyway. Man I had some memories at the hawthrone mallI can't even find a parking spot at Roosevelt feild mall

Yeah, there are black people in Pittsburgh...but don't get it twisted...this city is whiter than a Toby Keith concert.
And it is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo swagless...I can't wait to get back to NYC.

crenshaw mall almost went under til they put in a walmart.
man crenshaw mall been flabby and sick for so long I dont think i was born when it was popping. I new the mj theaters gave it boost in the mid 90s but it was still dead. Its crazy hearing stories from my mom about how the jungles used to be nice and it was mostly jewish people that lived there and black folks with money
I wasn't old enough but I do remember that chuck e cheese everbody from the hood used to go to. Also didn't they renovate that mall

The dikk's sporting goods store on the left is closed...so now there's nothing there except a pizza place and a asian massage place...

crenshaw mall is doing alright now. there was a moment when half the stores were closed.
and the jungles may be shyt, but they still living nice on the hill. what part of la you at?
I was raised off crenshaw and slauson off 6th ave but im in AZ now. I moved when i was 15 (1999) so there wasn't even a wal mart there. I think it was still a jcpennys or mays company

actually a couple of months ago. It was crazy seeing a cacs walking up and down south of la brea 
. Looks like they even renovated van ness park too a little bit 
Blame social media too.... My Mom would drop me off at the mall and I would hang out with 2 or 3 friends all day... Then see a movie at 7.... We would walk around.... talk... Play in the arcade...
Now folks hang out online and chat
