The solution is very simple. Get internet-based income. Either a job or a business where your income derives from the internet. Once you're able to get a livable income via the internet you're free. You can live where ever you want and aren't physically bound to the states.

Every single person I've known who saw some level of success with internet entrepreneurship left the states as soon as possible. I know one girl who now lives in Trinidad. I've posted about her before. She was depressed her entire life here in Brooklyn now she's the happiest I've ever seen her in her facebook pics. I know another guy who moved to the Dominican Republican and now has two live-in girlfriends (not sure how he managed that). I haven't seen him online in awhile now and lost contact with him. I knew another guy who moved to the UK and he barely comes online now.

Funny when people find happiness and are content with their lives they don't feel the need to browse social media/forums 24/7 like most of us miserable folks. Real life is better than the virtual life.
