This clip here is so live and shows how much award shows fell off. Even with a quick camera cut you see multiple stars and recognizable people in general in the crowd, and an engaged crowd in general. P shouting out Cash Money and Rap-A-Lot was cool as well.

I missed when rappers used to be on BET every week. That and 106 kept everyone in line for a couple hours if not more.

Now it’s just Tyler Perry and reruns of movies that we’ve seen a bunch of times.

Those of us that are old enough know just how badly BET has fallen off. For the 30 & up crowd BET was a staple of our childhood, and was much better than wack ass MTV & VH1.
