My apartments just left us this note on the front door

The same people who post shyt like that live in the burbs and don't appreciate how boring it is. I dare these nikkas to live in a real one way in one way out trap. Real hood shyt is super negative and non productive. I salute anybody who makes it away from that shyt.

I had to check an old coworker from the burbs for exactly this. Dude grew up in an upper middle class white neighborhood (Arlington VA) talking about "Why I move from a cheap spot to where I'm at now?"

I'm like, nikka, that was the damn hood. This was the spot where a dude was lit up right on my apartments porch for trying to rob a dice game at night. Same spot where walking over the bridge to the metro station could get you jumped and robbed. Same fukking hood where the maintenance man was walking in to apartments and jacking tenants food out the fridge, but wont fix the fukked up door, stoves and the HVAC systems.


Soon as I got my money up I got my moms and grandmother outta there and bought a house in a nice quite all black neighborhood here in DC.

I feel you. Im on the same shyt. As long as you stay put the way you good. I do see some funny shyt tho. Like nikkas jumping the tow trucc dude or the ice cream trucc pulling up with burglar bars
