I think not... its the same idea with people with increased melanin & lower levels of melanin.
I don't think either are superior. Its all about circumstances and how the body etc. adapts. In colder/sheltered areas people with high melanin would be at a disadvantage & have health problems. Place the low-leveled melanin human in high UV/Sun lit area & they would be at a disadvantage & have health problems. Its all about perspective & how one ADAPTS to said circumstance.

But the adaptations are a result of reproduction. The birds with this anti-radiation whatever the fukk gene survived and reproduced therefore making their offspring resistant to the radiation. This is what made the adaptation. You need a beneficial trait that can be carried on through reproduction in order for evolution to work.

In the melanin example if people with low-levels lived in high UV areas and died off before they could reproduce, the species would have adapted and evolved because only high-level melanin people would exist (as they would be the only ones reproducing). Take this on a much larger scale and over a much longer time period and this is how we get different species, etc.

How any thinking person can look at this and say, "It proves nothing." is beyond me. I would take critics of evolution seriously if they only had a clue. Instead they always seek out some video or reference some article. They can't discuss it one on one because they never actually take the time to study it themselves. Theory doesn't mean what you guys think it means in this case. But once again, no effort has been put into actually studying the subject at hand, only blind hatred and allegiance. Next you'll tell me the Earth's continents never move and that tectonic plates don't exist. Next you'll tell me the meteorite that killed the Dinosaurs doesn't exist even though we found the crater(by accident even) and visual fossilized proof to go along with the fact.

As far as the Big Bang, there is visual evidence that the Universe is expanding(redshifting and blueshifting). Hence it had to have been at a smaller state at some point. Now beyond what that smaller state was like, I'll give it to you guys that that's harder to call. But then how do you explain the Hubble Ultra Deep Field image? More theories I guess even though it's visual evidence.....

I agree that atheist can be annoying, but the guys statements on evolution is moronic. Without DNA there wouldn't be evolution and vice versa. DNA supports evolution in three ways.

All known life is linked by a common basic biochemistry using the same organic elements with only minor differences.
1 - All life uses the universal 3 letter genetic code
2 - All life uses nucleic acids: DNA templates & RNA intermediates to translate for protein synthesis.
3 - When DNA replicates the two strands are each copied so there is an old strand paired with a new copy. Each daughter cell inherits a DNA strand made up of an old copy and a new copy in semi-conservative replication. Imperfect replication provides basic fidelity with the means of constantly introducing a range of variations and a vertical continuity of life through the generations. This provides the basis for differential natural selection between phenotypes and the resulting adaptive evolution of species. Simple.

Also the reason why there is life on Earth. Simple. Earth supports life due to being at a correct distance from the sun. Also in science we never try to prove anything but try to find an understanding of things. Everything in science is a theory. So the guy calling evolution a theory is also moot.

Firstly, dude lost for thinking evolution is in any way at odds with creation. It's not.

So we were once amoeba a sponge like creature...then fish with scales and fins and could breath underwater...then we crawled on land and grew legs..then we turned into reptiles with sharp teeth and green scales and tails..then we turned into little hairy mammals running around on four legs..then we turned into apes swinging from trees..then we turned into humans? fukk outta here..

None of these are claims made by the theory of evolution, which goes back to my first point about how misunderstood evolution is.

the species would have died off it they didn't move to an area that would benefit them more. This allowed for the flourishing of reproduction to occur within that species. The same thing would happen vice versa with the high level melanin people living in areas of poor sunlight. Adaptation is what we are witnessing not evolution
