So are we ever gonna get an explanation on the situation? What situation got you hemmed up?
Got a username and password for a database from a former coworker. I logged in a couple of times and a few days later, realized it was a database you have to pay to access. 4 months later I get charged with felony theft.

How you know I'm guilty?
You were charged with felony theft. They usually don't charge people with theft unless they have some kind of proof that a theft took place.

And you spent 5 days in lockup. I've done less time for serving an undercover. They obviously got something on you.

And last but not least you admitted it nikka.

What kinda database did you log into? And how does logging into a database=larceny? Especially if you were only in there for four days. Larceny is what theft above 500 dollars or some shyt. What kinda expensive ass website were you on exactly? And how did they hold you for five days on a theft charge? Smells fishy.

Yeah I been to jail a few times but Rice St is on some other shyt. It's like they bring all the wildest, most mentally unstable nikkas in metro atlanta there. My first day in classification, saw a ol head get his head beat against the concrete by a young nikka until buddy was damn near dead. Dude tried to fight the CO and got his ass tazed but he put up a damn good fight. Had this one nikka in the court holding cell who kept going to the window and beating his meat and staring at them ugly ass female CO'S. Dude would bust a nut and just wiped that shyt on the walls. He got checked over it but his uncle was in the cell too and is a certified nikka so nobody really tried him like that.

this some straight :wtf: :dwillhuh: :why: I had boys been to Jail before but not on no Silence of the Lambs type sh*t. Who knew there were so many crazy azz nikkaz in the A?

Been dealing with the criminal justice system m whole entire life.

It costs money to prosecute cases. Its a waste of the systems money to try and indict nikkas on bullshyt crimes like theft, assault 3, harassment, possession, etc.

So unless the prosecutors have an open and shut case on you? They usually drop the charges. I have been arrested for attempted armed robbery. I got out in 4 days. Never got indicted. Only reason it took them 4 days to let me out is cuz this was over the holidays and the courthouse was closed for like 3 of those days.

Been arrested for serving undercovers. Was out by afternoon the next day. And they had the open and shut case on me, t hey just didn't give a fukk to prosecute it cuz its a waste of their resources.

With a crime like theft if they charge you? You probably did it. Its not like robbery or assault where someone can accuse you of a crime and its the witnesses word against yours. Its not a violent crime where they feel they have to get you off the streets asap. Its fukking theft. Either they caught you stealing or they didn't. And if they didn't catch you stealing on camera and they didn't catch you with the property then they have no case therefore they will decline to prosecute.

yep cats in there can't read can't write but they do know the system.. @filibuster is right they won't hold u on a theft charge unless they know u did it in "some" way.. I would still fight it if u can, don't take a plea, u definitely don't want felony theft following u around for the rest of your life if u plan on working for people

Naw bro, it's a state case. I have a real good lawyer so I hope that helps. I had no idea the database I logged into was for paid members only. It was work related and given to me via company email by a coworker

If you're for real just take it to trial breh. Worst case scenario they let you plea out to misdemeanor theft. Best case scenario you get some action and beat the case.

Try to beat that shyt if you can or get some kinda deferred prosecution cuz a theft on your record will effect legal job choices.

I logged onto the site but didn't know it was a paid database. I know ignorance isn't a defense though. What kind of time do you think i'd get if i took it to trial and lost?
