Businesses don't want that bad pub, especially around the holidays.
And your local station who does investigative type work would LOVE to get their hands on a story like this. Just make sure you have proof. Name drop the teller and others involved. I bet your $700 gets back within a day, if that.

That's how banks work. They focus on pleasing their shareholders, not the customers. Credit Unions put more effort into satisfying customers because they don't have to worry about turning a profit for stockholders. Check this article out.Its fukked up... A bank can basically fukk and its "oh well." Yet if any other business fukks up there are ways to be compensated for it.
You can get credit/debit cards linked to Credit Union accounts the same way.Cant do that yet.. I've got numerous things I pay for linked to my card..

What do i call and say, "Hey my local bank ruined my xmas and lost my money."?
On August 5th my school issued me a check for the amount of $700 that I then deposited into my savings..
The $$ has been sitting in the savings account since August. Two days ago I go online to pay my bills and I see $700 completely gone from he savings account.
After calling customer service I end up talking to someone at the bank where I put the $$, they tell me that basically "there was an error in processing" and that I need to get the check re-issued. On thursday the bytch teller re-credited me the $700. Then a day later called and said the manager is pulling it back out of my account again.
I go up to the bank heated and demand that I get the money credited back to my account. Asking why I should be penalized for a fukk up thats not mine..
Problem with that is I have to wait until the 2nd or 3rd week of January to get actually get the new check since my schools offices wont be back until then.
So I've done everything, I've called customer service, talked to customer services superiors (Told me to write a letter to corporate) , went to the branch and spoke with the dikk head branch manager and nothing it being done to compensate me for their mistake.
I mean if I go to mcdonalds and they give me the wrong order I get something back in return for the screw up..
