every team gets a window...i thought we was gon run shyt (mia) for 10 years but bron leaves wade leaves and bosh came down with something u dont wish on no man....things change overtime nikkas is mad now just like they were with Miami and the lakers/spurs when they ran the 2000's but it'll end one day...then the next team up will have their window for dominance and then nikkas gon be mad at whatever team that is

Man if Bron didn't shyt the bed in the 2011 finals I truly believe the Heat would have won 4 straight

GS drafted their core players.. sorry but shame on the other 29 GMs who were bullshytting now GS reaping the benefits

Ultimately, this.

- The Cavs have 3 players on their team (2 they picked) that were drafted before Klay Thompson in the same draft.
- Draymond fell to the second round (which I still can't believe).
- The Warriors essentially made similar moves to get Iguodala that they did to get Durant.

It's not the Warriors job to make sure everybody else can keep up with them.

yeah but its not like Warriors are all spring chickens and shyt..Steph is 29. 5 years later will be VERY different. Warriors were one of those teams looking in when the Heat were a superteam. And look where they are now. Teams getting better should never stop, its just an excuse for shytty GMs tbh
THIS!!! As a Heat fan, In a matter of days during the 2014 Finals it went from:

"Miami just won game 2 in SA in the 2014 Finals, Miami's about to go home and repeat and win the next 3 and three-peat!! WE gonna DOMINATE the league for the next 3yrs!!"

Then in a blink of an eye:

"Spurs win the next win the next 3!! Heat lose!! LeBron's gone!! Dynasty OVER!!!"

A superteams era can disintegrate in an INSTANT!!

We saw it with LeBron Era Miami, we saw it with Shaq/Kobe Lakers. The only long-standing dynasty is Timmy/Ginobili/Parker/Pop. The other dynasties in the last 15yrs, didn't last longer than a 3yr period. This current Golden State team is one of the greatest teams(if not the greatest) team I've ever seen. But it can all shift in 3yrs. Word to Miami....

i dont think its all about development. you can only develop guys so much. yall act like anyone could be steph, klay, green, or durant with the proper development. these are guys with natural gifts. once in a lifetime type players they were fortunate to get their hands on. theses types of players arent in every draft. sure some GMs need to do better but there is a lot of luck involved in this too. there may be a gem in the draft you just arent in position to get. and as far as free agency, players hold the power now. if they just dont want to live in a certain city then aint shyt you can do about that.
OKC made it to a Finals once, and their owner gave Harden the boot.

SA is a small market that seems to win 60 on an annual basis.

The owners just don't catch enough flack in the NBA, and the "Inmates run the asylum" narrative is used too much to shield the owners from any criticism of bad decisions. If you're a bad team, then you ARE in position to pick up a gem. If a team sucks in the NFL, the team's owner gets critiqued. Not the system. Yet in the NBA, we're made to feel sorry for all these markets that are just under horrible management, and just blame the ring-chasing players with "too much power".

That's a pretty lazy point of view to pin on Golden State. How come we're not complaining when GMs in the East trade the Cavs key role players every year for peanuts.

Lol at calling most of Brons supporting cast "key role" players.....on any other team, most of the cavs role players would be 9-12 in the rotation....I have no issues with GS signing Durant.....Now Durant leaving a title condender, with a top 5 player, joining a 73-9 team, after blowing a 3-1 lead to said team,is another story.

My biggest problems with the nba right now is:

1.The Luxury tax-Teams should be allowed to signed their own players without having to pay luxury tax.
2.Max contracts-The elite players are not getting paid their fair share.Too many overpaid scrubs making 15-20 million dollars per year.
3.NBA salary cap minimum-Teams are force to overpay for garbage players just to reach the cap minimum
4.Owners/Gm-A bunch of incompetent good ol boys kissing one anothers asses:

1.West trading Gasol to LA
2.Mchale trading Garnett to Boston
3.Cuban helping GS by trading for Bogut

The young teams like the Wolves & Nuggets are really the teams that should be looking to compete with the Warriors in 2-3 years time, everyone else in the West is kidding themselves.

As if the Lakeshow isn't first in line to reclaim west coast supremacy when the Warriors fade away :childplease:
