Child support payments will kill you. It's dependent on the state, but for a majority child support will last until 18.

And in FL we follow a child support guideline. basically, plug in your earnings and you follow the chart to determine how much you have to pay.

Depending on what state your homeboy is in will determine whether he will have to pay child support until they finish college. A guy at my job has to pay child support for his son and he's a sophmore in college. Now I think the thing is if they stop going then the child support is done. Plus there are other options but if the mother wants it then they can set it up. Mr210 you said that on the paperwork it's until their 18, I just hope that she won't be able to contest that in court. I hate it for your homeboy but that shyt be the breaks right there.
