I don't know what grocery stores you shopping at but I can reach the top shelf easily at 5'8. Retail stores don't build high shelves often. It's all based on marketing. Most of the people that shop are women and their average height isn't 6 feet. And all the popular products are at eye level so they can be easily spotted.
OP took down the pic of his eyebrows looking like two big doritoes (which are clearly chubby boys favorite snack) and now he's feeling himself.
