In this case though that’s the homie and it ain’t gone past a friendly hugBreak this down a little more for me if you canSolid shots ... for me personally you have too much bloom in some of the mid depth shots. That could be your style or course but I think some of the park shots would have served the subject better with a bit more depth of focus
I started with the canon t4i. I’d recommend a t7i and a 50 mm lens if possible. You’d definitely get a kit lens with that though. I’m a canon guy btw
I’m a professional breh
For sure...remember this is just my preference.Break this down a little more for me if you can
I’ll analyze and consider all the feedback. This was my second time doing portraits and my first time with this new camera so I’m looking to learnFor sure...remember this is just my preference.
A few things that bother me personally but obviously these things are subjective.
The second picture of the woman on the steps. I find the depth of field set correctly on the two where her lower half is out of frame...however the last one with her leg. Because we have reference with the leg and the bannister is such a dramatic angle for our eye I would have prefered a larger of field to really sharpen that railing. Leaving me feeling odd that we have a frame of reference from her location on the steps to the background. I would have used a different focal length there...
The second shot with skyline. It's a great shot with fore mid and background. Hard time of day to shoot but I personally think a longer shutter setting would crispen up that mid ground. A bit too much blur in the mid ground for me.
Lastly the park shots are solid again I just prefer when we can see most of the subject as it gives context clues to the setting to cleanup some of the things in the background.if anything I would shoot those shots overly detailed then in post processing add a bit of blur or distortion. Sometimes more info is better in my opinion and I generally shoot abstraction
I’ve been doing stock drone footage intentionally for years. I’m just now focusing on still photographyGreat photos.
Do you do stock images? If not, you should.
I’m with you too. Some people don’t want to drop that much for a camera out the gate though. I’m a mirrorless fan, have several cameras especially with this being my day job and side hustle sometimesnah get a r10 or a used rp or r
mirrorless is where its at
