eastern North Carolina had a pig shyt problem for decades. shyt seeped into the water tables and in the air. They have pork and beef plants all over that area. Plus the farmers who take care of these animals probably don't live to far. I'm sure they contaminate all the drinking water with minimumal checks and balances. I'm going to guess and say most dump waste water into the rivers. Which can be in the millions daily.
for some people, sureJudging by some of the other lists, Massachusetts has the best quality of life in the country![]()

It’s almost like taxing rich people to fund things that every one uses worksThey voted on a 4% tax on people making over a million and now they have a budget surplus that they're about to put into their schools and roads. It sounds like the most forward thinking state out here lol

Nah that's somebody overpricing their home. Two months ago it was listed for $40,000 more. Then last month $20K more. That means they ain't getting no type of hits for that price.
There’s no affordable homes left![]()
They love to bring up the glory days but always conveniently gloss over that the effective tax rate was 70% for the wealthy. They started cutting taxes on the wealthy and cutting workers benefits and public utilities around the same time they were forced to provide equal access to these things to black people... they'd rather give all back to the wealthy than live on the same playing field as a black person they believe is beneath them...smhIt’s almost like taxing rich people to fund things that every one uses works![]()
