You should've been masked up.

This is another reason I don't mind masks. I can go anywhere without having to worry about people (co-workers, relatives) recognizing me.

I said it in other threads…..

Some aspects about this mask shyt…. I don’t want to go away.

When I want to be incognito…. Wear a mask.

Also, when I go to restaurant….. I want my food preparers and staff to always wear mask

fact

Fukk you thought it was?

This.
I am management at a company that has gone through like 1000 people in the last decade. I was the hiring manager for a few years, and then I was operation manager, so I was highly visible to everyone that ever worked there, but I can’t remember all those names. Every time I go to any malls or anywhere basically, I literally am approached at least 5 times, almost everywhere. It’s like being a shytty F list celebrity, and if my wife or daughter is with me, it’s super fukking annoying. Since the mask shyt, I can basically do everything in public without getting bothered.

not everything you do has to be a power play. some things are just common courtesy

The dumb shyt negroes say when they believe in some false notion of "keeping it real" or "respect." You earn professional respect, it's not a social club. I don't care if you want to "go to lunch" or "grab a beer."

Is it leading to a better future for you and yours?

Lol that happened to me once
They were cacs too it seems like we found a new secret trend here:mjpls:

nah not new at all…I remember walking with my pops…I had to be SUPER young probably 6-7 so this is very early 80s, and I remember him saying “hi” to this fat old cac who didn’t answer or acknowledge him in any way…so pops didn’t sweat it and kept it moving…me being young I found it surprising that someone wouldn’t respond when greeted so I asked him about it and he said that’s how some white ppl are when they see you outside of the job…so I was even more surprised to find out he was a coworker…lesson that stuck with me forever

some cac coworkers can be funny like that and like to “ration” their friendship when it comes to black ppl…they’re cool with you one day then won’t say so much as “good morning” the next…I’m cool until I have to play “guessing games” to find out what mood they’re in from day to day…once I see that side, I minimize contact with them to just speaking when we have to get something done together

:gucci:

People recognized me the ENTIRE TIME. I was:

:skip:

every single time.

“Hey Creepy!”

:picard:

“How do you know it’s me? I’m wearing a mask!” I’m talking people I haven’t seen in YEARS, people from high school.
