My sis was looking to buy at that pla when her realtor and lawyer looked at the finances, she said it was pretty bad there. Peeps couldn't even sale their spots to people who'd take out a mortgage because of the building's financial problems. How's it inside though?

Inside is straight 1970. Time portal. I got fam in co op city and in Rochdale out in Jamaica qns and they both are from the 70s and still look 20 years newer.

I will say that it was clean and quiet.

I never heard about looking the the finances of a building...what does this entail?

Your man looks SICK in that picture...he was probably in a rush too. I don't rush a damn thing, and I definetly don't trust anyone,...

The MLS report will tell you a lot. How many units are in forclosures, etc. and it wouldn't be hard to find out if the corporation was in default with its loans.

A bank is not giving you a loan if a certain percentage of units are in default

The more you know, the more you don't know...

Is this inside the Phillip Howard? If so its GOAT if you live on the top floors of that building, I been in an apartment of a family friend when I was a kid in that building and they had clear views of the Manhattan Skyline :wow:

The doorman was a nice touch too and those modern looking elevators :ohlawd: Considering when I lived in Flatbush I usually lived in Tenements the Phillip Howard was :whoo:

His unit was only on the 12th floor and it had one of the dipset views I've ever seen from an apt. Midtown & lower mht

But the inside of the building is antiquated AF

Some nikka from his "spiritual center" just bought a few units in that building across from target @ the Flatbush Junction. The units needed to be renovated so my man put down $1500 for 1st month rent and $1500 for deposit. He waited almost 2 months for his March 1 move in date.

Brehs..... We pulled up on March 5 to move him in and look what we saw

Long story short, the land lord has a lot of excuses but I'm pretty sure he just ran out of money and is trying to stall. I personally think he don't have my mans 3k anymore and he will never see his money. I feel bad for kid, he made a few critical errors here (first apt) but he's an honest good hearted person who made some SERIOUS sacrifices to be in the position to afford this apartment. It's fukked up brehs :mjcry:
Did I the shopping cart come with the apartment or is that his?:jbhmm:

Construction crews love using shopping carts. Obviously they stole this one from the target across the street
At least he can use it to bring his groceries up. :francis: I wish him the best of luck. I had a landlord have me put down two months a rent and then kept delaying the move in date. Had my father call and pretend to be a lawyer and dude gave us back our money.
