IT Cert-Gang Mafia, GMB and HOH
I already have the 2008 version of Security + which was suppose to be a lifetime certification. My company has been hounding me for month to get the newer version. They even tried to make me sign a 90 agreement. I didn't. I fail to doing the continuing education bcuz it was too late when I found out about. Last week my company signed a lot of us for a Sec + Bootcamp. Starting Saturday morning thru Monday. :no: I work nightshift. They're really sticking it to us for be delinquent. And how, the teacher was great, but no way you're learning all of that with 2.5 days. We sat in class for 8 hrs and had a minimum of 5 hours of homework. This class consumed me this past weekend.

Finally took the test yesterday. I thought I failed it every step of the way. I zoomed thru it. I was 2nd to finish. This new version is 10x harder than the one from 09. I passed it! I passed it!

I have a lot of study materials and the exact labs that are on the test.

I passed the Security+ by the skin of my teeth :lolbron:

It was back in September though. They throw those first scenario based questions to eat up your time. I ate up 20 minutes just on those, had a nikka skressed :sadcam:

Right.

I don't know how to break this to them, but the Security plus is the easiest cert you'll ever take. Just buy Gibson's book read it once and take the test. Most of it is obvious especially for someone with a few years experience.

There is dumps out there you don't even need to buy the book though. But your right though, it's easy, even Fantasia can do it, and she can't even spell IT.
