If that was the case. Then why do they have these companies selling them their patients DNA. when they can do exactly that

I'm not saying they can't do what u said. But there's gotta be something up. That they have these companies selling it. Instead of just going to the doctors and hospitals

probably easier or cheaper like how everything else in America works. like it's easier to have you use an amazon alexa compared to just getting info from your cell phone

it's not like if these test kits werent invented or they all burn up tomorrow they wouldn't have access to people's genetic information and couldn't do research.

Whenever someone makes a DNA test thread brehs run in here talking about "those results aren't real the DNA companies are husltling yall ". Here's proof that they are not fake . I decided to take a DNA test to see if this shyt is real.
quick background: my family is from Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo. I think that my dad is 100 percent Congolese since his ancestors have mostly stayed around the Kinshasa area. My mom on the other hand comes from Eastern Congo so I expect some East African DNA from my mother's side. Her side of the family also speaks Swahili (an East African language). I'm also sure that I'm 100 percent African since my ancestors never left the continent or mingled with outsiders .
Here are my DNA results:

Damn near 95 percent of my DNA is Congolese and East African. When I clicked on "South Eastern African" it showed Rwanda, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, and Burundi. Rwanda is really close to Congo so my mom's side of the family probably comes from this region . All in all, this is proof that those DNA tests are accurate as can be.
edit: What really threw me off was the 2.6% Nigerian. Shyt was random as fukkk . I asked both of my parents if they had Nigerian ancestors and they said no . At least I now know that I share ancestry with my favorite fighter Adesanya .

Are you bantu or have bantu ancestry because they originated fron southeastern nigeria and northern cameroon if I remember correctly. It might come from that.

There's something to it,I don't doubt the practice of tracing ur ancestry, I lean toward believing it(I have a few questions on it tho). But the selling DNA part has me not fw these things. And what comes out about them

The government has it. The DNA places are mostly selling to private companies.
I imagine like most things, its easier to deal with a another private entity rather than the government.

I don't commit crimes but if my dna is used because some third cousin i nver met is some rapist and is caught that way ah well

They locked one dude up in Cali by taking his DNA from a slice a pizza he threw in the trash. If they want to get your DNA to test, they will get it whether you like it or not. Easiest way to not get in locked up is to not commit crimes.

they sharing with the Govt, FBI etc( word to FamilyTree). By cooperating with them as well as selling to private. So they are in arms with both it seems
