My dog hasn't been right since New years

Anybody else have a pet that has curled up in their shell after being scared half to death by all the fireworks and gun popping on NYE? How can I get him to return to his old self again?

It'll take a few days because people will still be and are popping off leftover fireworks and they can hear/feel/sense it.
