your dog will look goofy wearing a jacket but we had a weimeraner with really bad anxiety during thunderstorms...put that on her and suddenly she was brave as fukk. It works wonders. Just put it on during noise like fireworks or thunder and you're good. In your case i expect theyd have to wear it for a day and youre fine.

Get a thunder shirt/jacket and dog ear muffs next time. My dog doesn't like them either but her reaction is more anger and surprise, not fear...or maybe that's how she reacts to fear
