So subtle yet entrancing. Their most orgasmic song to date.

So subtle yet entrancing. @Luna you're young but you're taste in music is mature. Air is amazing.
Cherry Blossom Girl is so peaceful.
I like the variety of instruments air uses. Reminds me of cursive and the arcade fire. I heard everything from pan flutes to xylophones on the neighborhoods series TAF recorded.
Cursive's bass player plays a stand up bass, like a boss.

My man was almost as tall as his bass.Ron Carter. Nuff said

Word. I think thats how he was able to get that deep growly tone. He could easily handle his bassMy man was almost as tall as his bass.![]()
one of my favs
ain't it funky

This band was ahead of its time. They were making dark, smooth, sexy music before it got hot. They also had electronic, hip hop, rock, and blues influences in their music.
Bethany Gibbons can drink my blood whenever she wants. I'm pretty sure she's a vampire to be able to write and sing these dark fukking songs.
I don't know why Cowboy Bebop didn't get Portishead to make the soundtrack to the show or movie.
"Give me a reason to love you. Give me a reason to be a woman. I just want to be a woman." Bethany is hard on hoes for real.
You posting Portishead, without posting their dopest bassline. This is one of my favorite live performances. The lead singer is wearing a leg brace. That's why his pants are so wide and he's barely moving. If you look closely you can see it creasing his pants. He's also on hella pain killers. Look at how spaced he looks when the camers zooms in on his face. He's also mumbling.
Back to the bass player. Lmao, this nikka goes ham. He's wearing a white t shirt and blue long sleeve under it. Just watch him. Look how hard he's feeling himself while singing the harmonies when the video starts. Lmao, if you listen closely he's singing louder than the lead vocalist.
It gets better. Hes the only one moving on stage. And he moves all over the fukking stage and into everyone's space.
I miss and love 90s indie rock so much. Weezer, mmhmm.
you aint post 1 single BLACK Bass player
How the fukk y'all gonna have a thread on basslines without damned near any funk, R&B, or soul in that shyt (i.e. Black folk)
And the fact that y'all left the GOAT out of here is so disrespectful.
