Sharp is my favorite out of the revolving Weezer bassists. I was hoping he'd rejoin the group at some point and they'd drop Shriner. I think he's an integral part of their early success. You can tell when he left because although Blue and Pinkerton have two different sounds, there's still a style and aesthetic that isn't present in any of their later stuff.

Haven't heard of this dude. Good stuff.

Was coming to post Jamerson. That dude. Loved a lot of his Motown work
To be honest the thread was only about one bass player's performance of one song. Then I posted a couple other live performances I liked. Then I posted music that I find interesting I love.

The theme was never appreciation of bass players. I just didnt feel the need to type a correction because Luna started opening up and that's more interesting to lies and petty shyt.

Too many things I like about this video. Lacey sings the fukk out of this song solo. He's just warming up too. That's the second song they played.

He's wearing an A's hat! He's got the flowers tied around the mic. That's a Morrissey S/O. I'm glad bands still go for it.

Vince is fukking up it too. He's head banging because he wrote the song lol. God bless that man.

Not only am I in this video but this was a historical rap battle to go down in Oakland Ca. Arsonal murdered Con live. I almost got into a fight with Caddy Ron over a chair. And I rolled a blunt so fat I got kicked out the venue and let back in because Lush was smoking with me.

I was a wild young dude. Always doing some shyt in the town.

Hands down two of my favorite performers. Sam And Dave did the most on stage and played off each other well. They're slept on.

MJ was a low key rebel. He performed they don't care about us in Germany and did this performance piece protesting the racist history of Germany and the US. He has references to the Olympics in Munich. There was terrorist attack. Real low key revolutionary shyt.

Lmao A) wtf is my man wearing though.

B) that can't be his real hair.

C) I've watched this video hella times and I cannot tell if he's lip syncing or not. David Ruffin had the best hand gestures when singing.

D)he's ones of my favorites of all time.

Even after abusing his body he could out sing and perform most people dead or live. I would have loved to party with him.

Slip knot goes fukking hard.

My brother listened to this band. I never liked them, but as an adult I like them.

Joey kills the drums. I saw them live and they split the crowd into two sides and we charged at each other. They are the BEST live performers of all time period. Nobody comes close. There are NINE of these motherfukkers on stage going ham at all times.

So this is messy. So Jesse Lacey used to be in the band he's making a guest apperwnce with. Lmao, the lead singer of the band used swooped on Jesse's girl when they were in the same band. The song they're singing together is a diss song to Jesse and the girl.

Jesse started his own band and took the song they're singing together and changed it into another diss song called 77 Times 7 dissing the guy he's singing with.

The leader singer for TBS puts on a great show all the time. I love how he used two mic cable to hang himself and throws it and catches it.

More mic skills:

I love this video btw. And I love emo and screamo. Brand New and Taking Back Sunday were godfathers of it. The biggie and pac of this shyt.

What makes TOP special is their commitment live instruments. They sound better live than they do on wax. Look how big their band is? I can hear every section clearly.

Whoever is mixing this shyt live is a god, imagine trying to tune all the mics to pick up sound properly without muddying them.
