Yeah when I heard how long the movie was before I watched it, I was like :why:


I can not imagine watching that shyt tv :bryan:

I had no idea how long it was at the time.

Thought I would just fall asleep. It was entertaining as hell so it kept me up.

Although it’s a long movie , you stay engaged the entire time, but it’s just too long to be a “favorite movie of all time.” Way too long for that.

Yeah the way the story is told has you curious as to where shyt is going because it’s told what seems backwards

From the scene where you see dead people body bagged and it’s raining outside

From the phone ringing for what feels an eternity

To how there’s a lot silence and space sometimes between scenes and music where Noodles is looking back at the train station


But yeah I think the length of the movie alone is what keeps it from being talked about more among other great movies

I never hear people compare this to The Godfather Part 1 and 2
