My fellow college brothers. What's the hardest course we've taken so far?

To keep it one hundred, you're about to laugh, but the hardest class I ever took was the last Spanish class I needed to fulfill my language requirement in college. Let me tell you why.

This is supposed to be some basic 200 hundred level shyt and my boy was like, "yo let's take this other one it's interesting and about South America." Turns out this women was used to teaching 600 level and shyt. She rolls through with a 600 level syllabus and we're all like :merchant:. We tell her we think she mixed them up, she says she'll fix it.

She comes back the next day with the exact same syllabus but with a lower course number. I was :damn: I don't know why my stubborn ass didn't leave this class. But this women had us reading straight up novels in complete spanish. 6 page essays with expectations of high-level spanish vocabulary. Documentaries and movies with no subtitles and no English version :damn:

Our first test literally the entire class but two people who were native speakers failed, and we all failed for different reasons. We failed because we didn't know what the question was asking us. My boy thought this women was hitch hiking, I thought it was about climbing a mountain, someone else thought it was a murder, shyt was rough :deadrose:

I had the class dying the last day of the final exam in the big lecture hall when I gave the teacher a hug and then threw my book in the air and did that heel click skip in the air and walked out the door. :whew: shyt was comedy had bad we lost. She would record our class conversations and play them back later at home to break it down and grade it there. One time me and my partner said fukk the subject and just started talking about the Soviet Union because we knew a few key words :dead:

lol what a nut

I remember how stressed I was taking the Spanish regents in high school, it's part written and part oral(if you didn't pass, you couldn't graduate).

If you think you're lonely now, ohhh girl...
Pretty much what @BarNone

Hardest Course: Symbolic Logic (professor didn't give a shyt for explaining anything at all. Just ran through his work and kept going. And I found that I absolutely hated the subject halfway through the course. Terrible, terrible stuff)

This and this again. This is the hardest class I've taken by far. It's weird because you have to be able to think very abstractly within rules. It's vaguely like math, but different. I struggled mightily with that class.

Hey. At least you be guaranteed mad paper right out of school tho. Starting 60-70k or something like that right?

True, like most science majors its always steady money and the markets usually in demand but not much room for growth.

Business major ftw :win: but that business sector job security :merchant:

That class made me realize that I'm not a visual learner, and maybe that's why I started to hate math around my junior year in high school. I remember people saying it would prepare me for the LSAT and to an extent it did, and I could read arguments better but I hate diagramming shyt. But somehow, I was just able to do the same thing in my head, but even thinking about it in my head I was doing it verbally. That class is a bytch though.

calc 2 is :merchant: :merchant: its like calc 1 on steroids. if you dont have a good understanding of 1, beware of 2. 3 is actually easier than 2, its basically just revisiting 1 but with 3 variables. this is what ive heard i only went up to 2.

but the hardest class ive taken is accounting 2 :whew: if i ever see another balance sheet or income statement

:ohlawd::ohlawd::ohlawd: I thought I was STRUGGLING through that class, like reconsidering my major and life decisions the whole time, ended up with an A-:heh:

I feel dumb reading this thread. What are y'all a bunch of engineers and mathematicians? I can tell y'all smart as hell off the classes y'all naming. This is higher learning tho. I graduated with a 2.2 in business marketing :skip:

I think my toughest class was Federal Taxation :heh:

hows that degree working out for you? (for real tho)

mine is calculus, or physics (any REAL college class :heh:), intro course, maybe its cause im not good/forgot all the math stuff needed.
