my fellow mexicans not able to cook meat properly unnapreciation thread

i dont get it.

my mom, aunts , uncles, grandparents all over cook the shyt out of there meat unless its cecina or a flank steak..


going to an pricey place and having 6 people order a 50$ STEAK well done


i always thought turkey was awful until my girl made it for the family for thanksgiving 5 years ago.

i gotta couple theories on this subject

maybe they grew up poor ate shytty/unsafe meat that had to be cook throughly in order to be safe to eat,
maybe they think that the red juice that comes out of medium rare steak is blood,
maybe they are just uninformed and ignorant.

its funny how if you give a piece of medium rare beef to someone who only eats well done they look at you like you are trying to poison them

My mom grew up in Haiti and has the same cooking philosophy. She doesn't think any meat is done until there is no pink left.

They cook everything you eat. And they're pretty good at it.
