Question for yall as a hypothetical because this happened to me once.
What if you met a girl that loved video games. But just not the type of games you are into?
Example, i dated this gamer chick once. She like stuff like Fortnite fighting games like street fighter, Mortal Kombat.
Me i like games like 2k, and jrpgs like Final Fantasy 7 remake, God of War.
Now i can play Mortal Kombat and have fun, in fact i was still good enough at it to beat her
but it still wasn't quite the same. After a while i forcing myself to play games i wasn't enjoying. Sort've ruined the fantasy for me.

Buddy of mine went thru the same shyt. He's a big time First person shooter guy. Met a chick at some wedding we attended, she was into gaming.

at the thought of it at first....but then as they dated he realized she mainly liked Brawlhalla and Smash bros and platform fighters, other party games like that. He tried to pretend he liked it at first but as you said, that fantasy died quick as hell.
