Well..not necessarily..The stan you guys have been forced to cope with these past few months has been in me.
WHat you guys witnessed was the stan in me being unleashed but that was due to bigger and deeper motivations.
As the title of the thread says this is my final goodbye,
So before I go...lemme ask
Do you love hip hop, do you love art?
Then why do we choose to make it more than that.
How is it to have to be criticized by fans of other artists because of the lack of success ur fave artist has?
Is it really allowing us to enjoy and appreciate hip hop the way we should?
But thats one side of the problem..
Then theres the other side..
How does it feel to be criticized for enjoying an artist that other fans cant seem to grasp any entertainment from that same artist?
How does it feel to have older fans criticize you and insult ur intelligence because of the style of hip hop u enjoy to listen to.
The contentions are rarely about the content of the lyrics or moral issues
but rather pious judgements based on sound, style etc.
Why are we killing art...thats what we're doing..we're killing art
We need to allow ourselves to enjoy art and remove ourselves from the cynicism that limits us from enjoying the many different styles and sounds that we have been given to us by hip hop artists
My brethren...my goodbye wish..is that u guys finally allow art to be art.
No longer allowing cynical attitudes get in the way of enjoying art.
No longer carrying some type of imaginary scoreboard for artists jus to shyt on someone's favorite art.
