Just some background to the actual event:
It was saturday and i had ABSOLUTELY no plans of getting drunk. I was anticipating going next week so what was the point? However the activities with family & friends (around my age) things just turned to drinking! Fam its very rare that i get to the point where i cant walk its not my style at ALL. But this is what happened on this day.
As i came back home i really wasnt thinkig about Nas i was jsut i dunno really. I literally faceplanted into my bed like it was so comfortable to not move. I was face down arms straigh legs straight barely even thinking. I was just in a crazy zone from the effen vodka. Then i saw a text from my friend. My phone was in arms reach THANKFULLY. I quickly looked at soundcloud and clicked on the this blessing from the god Nasir.
Now here's the interesting part....the song wanst loading i vividly remember no sound so i wa slike alright ill just sleep or something. Then out of nowhere in a PITCH BLACK room i hear a sound (start playing the remix now please so u can really feel the story) but i had no clue it was nas at first i compeltey forgot i had selected the song (due to the connection issues)
I was so confused and actually a little bit scared. Then i heard the voice of my goat and i was in a very weird state. The level of emotion in his voice was startling. I had absolutely no idea what was going on i knew i was hearinng greatness but there was no way i could react i was literally half dead on my bed with this sond BLAZING down my ear.
It felt like the song lasted an hour. It felt like i was in some different world. I also heard sounds in the song that ive not heard since. Like instruments that no longer exist
i have decided to quit drinking now so ill never get this experience again but i will remember it forever
