Im not worried about catching this virus or any other one cause I actually take care of myself and my health(vitamins, herbs, teas, sunlight etc and I've been doing this for the last decade) viruses are harmless when you do that.

That's why you made sure you never took your kids for Hep B, polio, or measles vaccine shots right? All they need is vitamins and herbs and theyll be harmless:mjlol:

People think it's a game until it happens to them.

In a way, I think the people who have lived mostly healthy lives with no major hospitalizations and who feel they are in shape are actually more at risk because of the invincibility factor.

People who ain't really seen the inside of hospitals don't have that same perspective as people who have gone thru it and take shyt for granted

I've been in the same position as those dudes in the photos, with pneumonia in both my lungs and clinging to every breath I can get. On the verge of being put on a ventilator and staying in ICU for weeks and I don't wish that shyt on my worst enemy. shyt is depressing seeing the days go by and it will break you mentally just as much as physically.

Breh I feel you. As a asthmatic and hopefully other asthmatics will agree...your lungs ain't nothing to play with.

I would hope people with asthma and other breathing issues take this stuff serious. The worst breathing issue I ever had was when I caught a cold in Shanghai when I was there for 3 months. shyt was the worst because china cities have arguably the worst air quality in the world. So I was an asthmatic, who caught a cold, which developed into a chest cold...trying to breath in a smog filled city where you can barely see the make up of sun and moon (cause the smog is so bad).

I can only imagine getting covid which develop into breathing issues is 10 times as bad.

One of the things that haunts me about my cousin that passed is that... my dad told me that he stopped calling while she was in the hospital because when she was on the phone with him, she was literally struggling to take in air to talk. And he knew it was hurting her because she could barely breathe period and then on top of that, the talking was making it worse.

All I can say is, may god keep my people safe - and bring fury on every racist mfer in that state

Are there any black outreach organizations focusing on educating the community on this virus? Doesn’t have to be just Florida- anywhere in the south

I‘d donate in a second

you think that's crazy?

Now, imagine this.

You cannot breathe and a resident/inexperienced doc gets to practice on you and do this

endotracheal-intubation-icu-care-unit-600w-1712117440.jpg

barring all goes well, then you have an inexperienced nurse taking care of you because other nurses have the more critical patients. Let's say that nurse wants to give you the best care.

Then, you need several meds on drips to keep you calm and your vitals stable.
So they did this

Meanwhile you may get minimal sedation and you can barely breathe. You are forced to breathe to a straw compared to your normal breathing.

Let's say things go really bad for you and they have to prone you and you have to stay like that for days. Your brain is aware and you cannot turn. You are forced to stay like this for days.

If you make it through all this, you may end up with delirium, bed sores, a tube up your anus, organ damage, prolonged hospitalization and a hefty 6 figure bill.

Oh yeah would you rather see the same people 24/7 or go through all this shyt, as you put it?

you aren’t proned for days, it’s intermittent...lol

Why weren't yall this scary every cold and flu season? Cause they didn't tell yall to be? Cause they didn't have a ticker on the screen 24/7 with an infection rate and death count smh.
This shyt ain’t just the flu. This is the bad boy remix. Flavor in your ear type shyt.

Will some people be immune to the shyt, yes. Not everyone. Don’t talk that scared shyt with me either. I lost a cousin behind this shyt and I still go workout in the park and go to work.
