we had a party over his house last night and things got wild and someone put their head through a wall in the living room. its a small fix but its noticable.

when i was walking outside to go home i saw his landlord coming in to collect last months rent and i stopped and told him not to worry about the dent in the wall and it will be fixed. he was livid.

my friend called me bytching asking why the fukk i told the landlord and i told him to try calm the storm if there was one before it happened and to instill confidence

my buddy is pissed because he hid the dent with the couch and he is a carpenter/painter and was gonna fix it himself with no one ever knowing now the landlord is hiring someone to come in to fix it and it will cost my buddy over a stack

am i in the wrong here i was just trying to help?

And what you just described is not snitching. Snitching is when you are involved in a crime but tell on whoever your partner was just so you could get your charges lightened and/or dropped.
