I think that's a little harsh fam. Only 16 percent of black males have a college degree ( Brookings Insititute). So having any bachelor's degree for us black men is an accomplishment. I think if I remember correctly

Not probable != commendable. A degree alone means nothing to me, simply means you had the resources to pay tuition and pass exams. In this particular case, it is pretty cool he is doing engineering. Graduating from engineering school is an accomplishment, but that accomplishment is diminished since it took him 8 years.

How is it diminished? If he's graduating now, that means his skills are up to date. Whether you hire the graduate at 22 or 25 seems to me as irrelevant. Again I graduated with a degree in finance, so my perspective maybe different. But This doesn't make sense at all.
There's tons of fields where a master's degree matters. ENGINEERING IS probably number one, followed by business. I'm thinking about getting my masters degree in finance ( boost for resume).

Totally false, only foreigners need masters in engineering. Its two more years of school for 5 grand more in pay. A masters in engineering is pretty much just another senior year.
Its diminished because he is 25. Thats old. Its categorically more impressive to graduate college at 21 than 25.

Okay the first part of your statement is not true. Multiple sources from ( Forbes, US Today News, and Huffington Post) show that a master's degree provides a significant boost, in terms of salary in comparison to a bachelor's degree.
When it comes to age of getting your degree, I'll let you decide how it is in the engineering world. I'm from finance, so age of degree attainment is not that important ( internships are). So I'll assume as an engineer you know more about this.

With that said please understand this,if you have a good women and you take her for granted you will lose at the end. Everyone has their breaking point where there's no turning back.
Look at it from her perspective, she works three jobs, that's really respectable I would even say wife material and if she is beautiful then she is the cream of the crop.
She may know your potential, and what you may have already accomplished but those things can't replace self dignity, no one wants to be treated like shyt especially when your out there every day busting your butt working 3 jobs.
She may have have self worth, only a thot would stick around hoping to hold on for some kind of pay off, think basketball wives but I don't think you have that kind of girl so you need to decide if you really wanna let her go or lose her forever.
