My Girl's Mom Called Me a Sociopath...

My girl just found out from her pap smear she might have a rare strand of HPV that causes cancer. They are waiting on the results of her colposcopy before know anything, but it's in stage 0. I told her that there is nothing to worry about since that is nothing she can control. I told her no need to fret and thing of the worst case scenario. She over here thinking that she's going to die with no kids. Her mom just called me saying in insensitve and that I need to be there for her...
Am I tripping? Should I tell her some bullshyt?
