I'm sorry for your loss OP. I'm going through the same now.
You ain't alone.I lost my mother to ovarian cancer last month. Her Dr. believed she could fight for at least five years, but she had a heart condition we didn't know about and all the treatments had weakened her and they weren't going to be able to give her anymore. Her cancer had progressed to her lungs something she kept from us. Ultimately her mind was gone and even if she could take the treatment fighting would've prolonged my mother in a vegetative state and she wouldn't have wanted that. Despite knowing that I feel like I killed my mother having had taken part in making the decision to take her off life support.

Lost my grandma in January she got dianosed with pancreatic cancer died two weeks later. she raised me like her own I feel your pain breh. People say it gets easier with time it really don't. The only bright side is knowing that they pain free now
