My Hair is Professional!

This picture of this young woman was posted on a facebook 4c Natural hair care page.
Its been a bit of controversy over what is professional and what is not. A white woman wearing her hair natural will never have to hear someone say her hair doesn't look professional. While as a black woman we tend to get ridiculed if we don't style our hair. In my opinion If my hair looked like this it would be too big for me. My hair doesn't stay put so it would get even bigger. I personally would not rock this at all and especially in a professional setting. But I'm not her. So if she like it cool.

Is this professional? Yay or nay?

Her hair is beautiful, but should be cut down a bit if we're talking professionalism in my opinion. Just too distracting.

Based on the length of it, she has had that hair growing for some time. She might have had it groomed professionally, but I suppose she could have picked up techniques to take care of it herself. The reason most people doubt black women can maintain this kinda hair at home are:
-Hairhats who fake it till they make it
-Women who do absolutely zero upkeep on their hair and always look terrible
-The typical pastime of black people at a salon

Outside of that just ignorance. Either way, she has wonderful hair. She looks like this kid I grew up with thoughMight have to see if he has a facebook.

Professional means acceptable to white people.

I say fukk em and do you. I rock cargo shorts, t-shirts and flip flops to business meetings.

Her hair is not even close to as distracting as cacs with dreads and i've seen them in professional settings.
