Told her she’d be a fool to not take it. I know a lot of people on this board having been pushing for people to move to less desirable cities so I wanted to see this in action.

You would think this is a no brainer since the jobs she gets in NOLA pay trash but this chick is about to throw away this opportunity.

Also is Buffalo a cheaper place to live than NOLA (outside taxes)?

:jbhmm: Damn the money. If the job isn't a worthwhile move as far as her career path, interests and passions... there's no point unless there's a thought-out plan where she stacks major $ for a year or two while working on side ventures.

Outside of that... it depends on the type of person she is. If she's about culture/city life, etc. Buffalo may not be it. But if she's a football fan... :manny:

Living in Buffalo sounds like hell, but I'd do it for 1-2 years then take my ass back to a warmer climate with my new salary requirements. PURRRRR!

I’m not surprised posters like @Sbp and @Matt504 said they wouldn’t return home because when I traveled to New Orleans similar to NYC I realized lots of the tourist love it but when I speak to locals a lot seemed depressed.
I went there last summer it seemed like a dope place to visit but a hell hole for locals
