Yes, I agree that in some - I'd even wager MOST - cases, deadbeat nikkas have telltale signs (some subtle, some obvious) that women just ignore.....but sometimes you DO have nikkas who genuinely put up a good, solid front and trick good women into thinking they'll be great husbands/fathers (in general, nikkas misrepresent who they really are to women all the time to get in them panties, so it's no surprise some of them will switch up on this level)
Then when dude leaves her a single mother, she gotta suffer through the stereotype of being a nagging-ass ho that drove the baby daddy away and can't stick with one man....shyt ain't fair

fukked up situation but this is why we need a more robust welfare state with adequate child benefits, maternity leave, etc.
if you want to keep child poverty low the way to do that is through providing good child benefits. countries like norway, sweden, and finland have similar rates of single motherhood as the US, but their child poverty rates are way lower. The US is actually at the BOTTOM of the OECD world in social expenditures on child-related family benefits.
