The Truth
It is. I have A+ and Network+. A+ is more or less a must to go further in the CompTIA system. There may be a few exceptions, but I don't known of any personally.
I'm sure it's not man.

Most of us who got Sec+ n the military weren't required to get A+ at all.

We had an entire Sec+ portion of schooling (which was an easy ass 1 week) which the final exam was the cert. And even outside of schooling, people got Sec+ without even bothering in A+.

They are all entry level certs... You don't need A+ to do shyt.

In fact, if OP has ANY kind of computer knowledge I would say skip A+ altogether. Net+ and Sec+ are all one test and much more valuable to say the least. I could get Net+ right now if I wanted to..

I just might because apparently I have to recertify for Sec+ as of the end of last year. Comptia courses are easier than most but A+ is just a complete waste of time to me and will forever get you doing some type of helpdesk bs

I honestly want to say fukk Comptia altogether
